As with the covers the cabinets ( PCP ) have changed over the years, from cast iron to fibreglass to pressed steel. Below are examples of Openreach cabinets. Sizes vary and all are made in single door versions.

Openreach have about a tenth of the number of street cabinets than that of Virgin Media. The difference between ours and theirs in the the keys required to open them, ours have a triangluar insert whereas Virgin Medias ues a convential key.
